The Original King Alfred Running Day.
A wet Bank Holiday Monday but that didn't keep the crowds away. Even the open-top buses were well used.
A full service of routes in and around Winchester with King Alfred buses and many visiting vehicles.
FoKAB's 'new' Leyland Titan was on display for the first time. More details below.

A Leyland Titan constructed from two imported from the Isle of Man, plus other parts.
This bus is typical of a type used by King Alfred until 1969 / 1970.
The work of creating this Titan has taken more than thirty years.
The bus will be registered as HOR 811, a suitable number for a King Alfred Titan.
